TNEC is a multi-disciplinary engineering, design and consultancy company working across the solar energy industry in Malaysia. Over the past 5 years, TNEC has successfully completed the EPCC of 3 Large Scale Solar plants with a total capacity of 109 MWac.
The TNB Solar Sepang plant is designed to generate 78 MWdc and is currently the largest LSS plant in the country. TNEC supports Malaysia's renewable energy generation target by leveraging on its competitiveness and strength, domestically and across the region.

50MWac Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Plant
The 50MWac LSSPV was developed on approximately 67 hectares using Jinko 575W rating PV modules and Sungrow 8800VA central modular inverters. Located in Bukit Selambau, Kedah, this project achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 21st December 2024 — 10 days ahead of schedule as set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST). TNEC is also undertaking 2 years of O&M for this plant.

30MWac Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Plant
Successfully commenced operation on 8th September 2020 — 114 days ahead of schedule from the initial target of 31st December 2020. TNEC also undertakes Operation & Maintenance activities for this plant.
EPCC & O&M
50MWac Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Plant
TNEC's first solar project — commenced full operation in November 2018 and became the country's largest solar farm at the time. Generating 50MW to the national grid. TNEC continues to carry out O&M for this plant.

29MWac Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Plant
A 29MWac photovoltaic power generating facility developed by Leader Solar Energy with TNEC-ERS JV as EPCC contractor. Commenced September 2017 and completed November 2018 in Kuala Muda, Kedah.
